Glam rock... pride of the Lion King photographer
A MAJESTIC lion pulls a regal pose on a rock – in a real-life version of Disney’s Lion King. Famed British wildlife photographer David Yarrow, left, created the artwork by combining two pictures shot in Kenya and South Africa. The incredible image will be displayed at a charity exhibition from today until October 23 at the Maddox Gallery in Westbourne Grove, London. It will appear alongside a selection of Yarrow’s other iconic photographs. Behind the scenes footage of the work involved in merging the content will be released at the same time. It is hoped that the two projects combined will raise more than £500,000 for African conservation.
