Less than exciting rise not worth paper it’s written on
SORRY if I’m not excited with this latest news but unless you’re earning the new rates it’s hardly worth the paper it’s written on.
My pension is £129.20.Add the four per cent and it becomes £134.35; still nowhere near the new rate and it will never catch up.
I cannot claim any pension credit as I worked for more than 40 years so I’ve a bit added on, but because it’s not basic it stays a static amount.
Where is the fairness? Basic pension should be the same for all.
