Revolution’s year of transition

-

BAR chain Revolution will continue upgrading and improving its current sites before opening new ones, to avoid running up higher debts, the company’s chief executive has said.

Rob Pitcher said he plans to refurbish 15 bars, which trade as Revolution Bars and Revolucion de Cuba, having updated eight in the last year at a cost of £1.4million.

Sales across the group’s 79 bars grew 6.7 per cent to £151.4million thanks to five new sites, but on a like-for-like basis sales dropped 3.5 per cent.
