Saints sing their heart out for Ralph

- By Alex Crook

The Hoops won 4-0 at Pittodrie earlier in the season, and I think this will be just as one-sided.

United are on a good run and feeling confident, I don’t even think the new manager effect at Watford can stop them.

Look this is Celtic at home, so I should be picking a Hoops win, but it is also 1st vs 3rd. Let’s go Score draw number two!

But for some magic from Mo Salah, Watford could have sprung a surprise at Anfield. I’d pick United but The Hornets looked good. 1-1 (again!)

RALPH HASENHUTTL is confident this will not be his ‘Last Christmas’ at Southampton after being serenaded by part-owner Katharina Liebherr.

She gave a rendition of the Saints supporters’ pro-Hasenhuttl version ofWham!’s festive favourite at the club’s Christmas party. The Austrian boss is under pressure after losses to Newcastle and West Ham left his team in the drop zone, but the Austrian was grateful his praises were still being sung.

He said: “It was a surprise she did it but thanks. She is a fantastic singer. This relationship is important for developing a club and going through the periods which are sometimes more successful or more difficult. It’s a special club here.

“This relationship we have had since the first day.” Hasenhuttl hopes to strengthen in January, with Genk defender Joakim Maehle a top target. Hasenhuttl said: “The window in the summer was not perfect for us. “We have to do something in the full-back position.”
