Bullseye! Fallon is darts queen again
HISTORY-MAKING Fallon Sherrock checked out with a spectacular bullseye yesterday to go through to the DartsWorld Championships third round.
Fallon, 25, had already become the first woman to win a match at the Professional Darts Association event at London’s Alexandra Palace.
During her latest impressive victory, she fought back from two legs down to win the first set, before her opponent reversed the fortunes in the second. But she took the third set against the AustrianWorld No 11 Mensur Suljovic sealing the win with the bullseye. She will now face world No 22 Chris Dobey.
She said: “I don’t know how I’m going to sleep tonight.
“I’ve proved that we [women] can beat anyone – I’ve just beaten two of the best players in the world. I’m still waiting for it all to sink in.”
