J-Lo turns on glamour to put Oscar snub behind her
JENNIFER Lopez may have been snubbed by the Oscars but if these photos are anything to go by she could not give two hoots.
Flaunting her famous curves in a figure-hugging lime green dress, the Hollywood superstar strikes a powerful pose in a new campaign for fashion line Guess & Marciano.
A stunning black and white shot shows her giggling as she reclines in a chair in a revealing broderie Anglaise two-piece.
In another she cheekily tugs her dress to make sure everyone knows she still got it – her famously perfect posterior that is.
Channelling screen siren Sophia Loren and pop star Madonna, the 50-year-old stuns in the glamorous shoot by photographer Tatiana Gerusova.
Jennifer said: “Whenever I do a collaboration, I always think of a character that I can play and be. The vibe this time was a mix between an Italian film star from the Sixties, mixed with
Madonna from the Eightees, mixed with Sophia Loren. It’s so much fun to get into the character and to make that happen. The clothes and setting of the shoot really worked well together to make this campaign come to life.”
The singer and actress was also announced this month as the new face of Italian designer Versace and she is gearing up for her Super Bowl halftime show with Latin pop star Shakira on February 2.
Fans were outraged when her critically acclaimed performance as New York stripper Ramona in Hustlers was overlooked by the Academy Awards and Bafta.
