MEGHAN made her second public appearance since turning her back on the UK after using a mysterious email account to arrange it.

The Duchess of Sussex left her £11.4million Canadian island retreat, where she and Prince Harry spent Christmas, to fly to Vancouver for engagements.

On Tuesday, she visited the Justice for Girls group, which advocates for social justice for young women who are facing violence, poverty and racism.

It came after the Duchess visited Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre, which gives a safe space for women and children.

Meghan’s assistant sent emails from a private account asking if the Duchess could drop in, rather than use a royal aide as intermediary, said women’s centre boss Kate Gibson. Justice for Girls, co-director Zoe Craig-Sparrow said: “The Duchess put everyone at ease and had a really engaged discussion with us for 90 minutes about the rights of teen girls in poverty.

“We were honoured she is interested in our work.”

The Duchess has carefully controlled media access at the engagements since she and Harry announced they would “amend their media relations policy” to communicate directly with the public.

Meghan’s visits could hint about the kind of work she plans after ditching Royal duties. During her Tuesday trips, her eight-month-old son Archie was reported to be left with a nanny. a global profile couple.Their audience is way more North American than here.”

He recalled turning Meghan down as a client in 2013 when she was starring in TV legal drama Suits.

He said: “We felt it wasn’t a great fit for us.We were going in another direction.

“But she showed a real ambition and a sense that she wanted to make the most of her talents.

“She was leveraging her role in Suits to demonstrate she could work with brands – whether that be fashion, beauty, whatever.”

He added: “I get the sense from Meghan, having had the small interaction I had with her, that she probably wants independence.

“She probably doesn’t like being told what she can and can’t do.”

Palace officials who have regularly seen their advice ignored by Meghan and Harry over the past couple of years will testify to that.
