Harry’s family join forces with Epstein’s victims to get justice

- By Christopher Bucktin

THE family of Harry Dunn and alleged victims of paedophile Jeffrey Epstein joined forces yesterday to put pressure on Anne Sacoolas and the Duke of York to “co-operate with law enforcement”.

Radd Seiger, spokesman for the teenager’s family, and Lisa Bloom, the lawyer representing six of Epstein’s alleged victims, said the two cases shared a “common thread”.

Speaking yesterday in New York, along with an alleged Epstein victim known only as Kiki, the US lawyer said the “parallels between the two cases are eerie” and involved teenagers who were victimised.

Mr Seiger said it was terrible advice for Mrs Sacoolas and the Duke if they are being told it’s all going to go away and they should just wait it out.

The pair joined forces to call for both Mrs Sacoolas to return to the UK and Andrew to face questioning from the FBI in the US.

Mrs Sacoolas has been charged with causing Harry’s death last year, but US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo rejected an extradition request for the 42-year-old last month. The 19-yearold was killed when his motorbike crashed into a car outside US military base RAF Croughton, in Northants, on August 27 last year.

In a video message, Harry’s mum Charlotte Charles said: “The lady who’s been accused of killing my son is effectively on the run. She’s at her home in the US, and she needs to be back here facing the UK justice system. It doesn’t matter who you are, it really is that simple. Follow the rule of law and do the right thing.”

In a direct message to the Duke, Ms Bloom said: “Our goal is for Prince Andrew to co-operate and Anne Sacoolas to co-operate.

“I think the parallels are eerie. We’re talking about innocent teenagers in both cases who were victims, and you can call it whatever you want as long as we get justice in both cases.”

Talking about connecting herself with Harry’s case, she said: “We stand with the family of Harry Dunn and they stand with us. Both Mrs Sacoolas and Prince Andrew must co-operate with law enforcement.

“I call upon my government, the US, to return Mrs Sacoolas to the UK to face justice.”
