A BRITISH man who was diagnosed with coronavirus while on a cruise has been filmed dancing to the song (I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life.
The footage shows David Abel in a hospital-style gown, grooving to the song from the film Dirty Dancing.
He is currently being treated for pneumonia at a Japanese hospital.
Mr Abel, 74, from Northamptonshire, sailed with his wife Sally on the Diamond Princess to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. In the footage he waves his arms in the air and moves his hips.
Mr Abel is then seen squatting in front of the camera and tells viewers: “Come on, bend those knees”.
But then his wife turns to him and tells him to put a stop to it.
Mr Abel then turns to the camera and says: “There we go, just a little bit of fun.”
A family member said the couple were “doing well and fighting fit”, adding: “They are getting stronger every day.”
