Meghan is back... with new movie star looks

- By Michael Knowles

THEY looked every inch the Hollywood couple as they sparkled in the rain.

Prince Harry and Meghan, who wore heavy make-up, matched her dramatic look with a turquoise Victoria Beckham dress and blue suede heels for the annual Endeavour Fund Awards at London’s Mansion House.

They smiled as they clutched a black umbrella while stepping out of their car into the pouring rain.

The Duchess was last seen two months ago when they revealed they were stepping down from being senior royals. Fans gathered to see the couple on what will be one of their last public engagements before they begin life away from the Firm.

Cheers rang out amid shouts of “We love you Meghan” – but there was one loud boo from an onlooker. The actress simply smiled and waved.

Once inside, she told the audience: “It’s nice to be back. It’s the third year I’ve had the incredible fortune of joining my husband here.

When we watched the videos of nominees in Canada we had the moment of, ‘How are you going to choose?’ We’ve done our best.”

Harry, 35, told them: “To be able to serve Queen and country never leaves us, once served always serving. A lot of you tonight told me you have my back. I’m here to tell you I’ll always have yours.”

The couple were supporting wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women who have taken part in remarkable challenges.

Meghan, 38, presented the Celebrating Excellence Award to former Royal Marine Lee Spencer, who completed a record-breaking solo row of the Atlantic despite losing a leg. Ceremony host, former soldier JJ Chalmers, said he supported Harry’s decision to step back from public life, adding: “It’s fantastic to have them here.”
