PSG WIN 3- 2 ON AGGNEYMAR inspired Paris Saint- Germain to victory over Borussia Dortmund and into the Champions League quarter- finals last night.

Trailing 2- 1 from the first leg, Neymar fired the French side ahead on the night when he nodded in a 28th- minute opener.

The Brazilian forward then played a key role in a move which ended with Juan Bernat diverting home just before the break for the clincher.

The tie was being played behind closed doors but that did not deter PSG fans as a large number of supporters gathered outside the Parc des Princes.

And although Neymar has at times struggled to win over those fans, he took centre stage when it mattered most.

Just moments after Edinson Cavani fluffed a golden chance, Neymar netted his second goal of the tie by nodding in Angel Di Maria’s 28th- minute corner.

He then sparked a free- flowing attack which ended when Pablo Sarabia’s cross was touched home by Bernat in the 44th minute.

Dortmund featured Norwegian goal machine Erling Haaland, who started the night with 10 goals in seven Champions League games, and England star Jadon Sancho. But the visitors looked devoid of ideas as they struggled to find a route back into the tie.

Tempers boiled over late on with a touchline melee which resulted in ex- Liverpool midfielder Emre Can being sent off by English referee Anthony Taylor for shoving Neymar to the floor – summing up Dortmund’s dire evening.

For PSG it was a night to cherish, having crashed out of the competition at the last- 16 stage in the past three seasons.
