Bake Off winner Frances ‘banned by supermarket for shoplifting’

AWINNER of Great British Bake Off has reportedly been banned from her local supermarket over an accusation of not paying for flour and eggs.
Frances Quinn, who won the hit TV show in 2013, was allegedly stopped by undercover store detectives.
Police were called to the scene in Market Harborough, Leics, on April 28 and Frances, 38, apparently agreed to hand the items back, including flour and eggs.
Leicestershire Police said: “A woman had entered the shop and was detained when she tried to leave without paying for goods.
“She admitted her involvement to officers and the matter was dealt with by way of a community resolution.”
It is understood the resolution means Frances will not be allowed to enter the store as her name would be added to a list of known shoplifters held by security guards.
Frances, who won the Great British Bake Off with a three-tiered wedding cake, was allegedly interviewed by officers but has not received a criminal record.

was still on the BBC, beating Ruby Tandoh and KimberleyWilson. She later claimed contestants faced a gruelling filming schedule, sometimes baking for 13 hours in a row and being interviewed eight times a day.

Professional dancer Johannes Radebe is rumoured to be the likely choice to perform with a male celebrity when the show returns despite the pandemic.
Johannes, 33, appeared in the first same-sex routine in the show’s 15-year history with Graziano Di Prima, 26, in 2019.
A source said BBC chiefs wanted to introduce an all-male or allfemale pairing after ITV’s Dancing On Ice put skater Matt Evers with Steps singer Ian “H” Watkins.

The show insider revealed: “Many of Strictly’s stars have called on producers to cast a same-sex couple for the past few years and it’s been decided this will be the year.
“Johannes made history with Graziano by becoming the first same-sex dancers to perform and he’s made no secret of how keen he’d be to take on the role.
“Strictly is facing so many challenges this series because of coronavirus. But behind the scenes they’re rising to the challenge and want this year’s show to be better an ambassador of the Cream Tea Society and is a frequent guest on UK radio and television.
