Spend HS2 billions on the things that matter to us

I TOTALLY agree with Anthony Todd (Letters, May 28) we should cancel HS2.

It is a complete waste of money. Who wants to get to London 20 minutes quicker?

That money could be better spent on the NHS, hospitals and police forces.
