Maybe Andrew has something to hide, says Epstein’s butler

- By Christopher Bucktin US Editor in Florida

PRINCE Andrew’s failure to speak to the FBI over Jeffrey Epstein is “maybe because he has something to hide”, his paedophile friend’s former butler has claimed. Juan Alessi urged the Duke of York to talk to US investigators over allegations, strongly denied by Andrew, 60, that he met with teenage sex slaveVirginia Giuffre.

In his first interview, the 70-yearold talks about the time Andrew attended naked pool parties at Epstein’s Palm Beach home in the early 2000s, where he says he set up tables for him to be massaged on. He previously swore on oath in 2009 in a civil case brought by “Jane Doe 2” against Epstein and again in a sworn affidavit in 2016 in Ms Giuffre’s civil case for defamation against the tycoon’s alleged “fixer” Ghislaine Maxwell. Mr Alessi said: “I met Prince

Andrew twice at the house of Epstein. The only thing I can say about him was that he was a complete gentleman to me.

“I never saw him with girls. I never saw him withVirginia.

“I never saw him naked or actually having the massage.

“When I saw him I never saw him kissing anybody. I never saw him patting anybody.” Mr Alessi said the house was “full” of nude pictures young women.

Asked if the Prince would have seen them, he said: “You would need to be blind not to see them.”

The account puts further pressure on the Duke to co-operate with the FBI probe into Epstein and those who enabled him – despite his financier’s suicide last year while awaiting trial for underage sex trafficking.

Andrew last year stepped down from public duties after giving a TV interview about his friendship with Epstein. He has always denied any wrongdoing.

Mr Alessi spoke out as he said the confidentiality agreement he signed when he quit died with Epstein. Asked if the Duke should speak to FBI investigators, Mr Alessi said: “He should. Maybe he has something to hide.”

Mr Alessi said he broke his silence as he wanted his “nightmare” to end. “I hope Prince Andrew, as a father himself, does the right thing too.” of
