Bombshell for Andrew ‘as spider web of Epstein’s victims grows’
LAWYERS for girls abused by Jeffrey Epstein claim there are other victims who were in the presence of Prince Andrew and the paedophile who have yet to go public.
Brad Edwards, who represents the Duke of York’s sex accuser Virginia Giuffre and 54 other alleged victims of the American financier, made the bombshell claim, deepening the crisis around the royal.
It is the first it has been alleged there are more victims of Epstein who claim they saw him with Andrew other than Giuffre and Johanna Sjoberg.
Mr Edwards said: “We have several other clients who were in his presence and Mr Epstein’s presence. He (the Duke) refuses to talk. It’s not doing him any favours.”
Giuffre has claimed Andrew slept with her three times after being loaned out to the Prince by Epstein – who committed suicide in jail – in 2001.
Sjoberg previously told how she was molested inside the billionaire’s “House of Horrors” and after making “a pact with the devil”. She claimed in court papers that Andrew groped her breast as she sat on in his knee inside the financier’s home.
Andrew, 60, and his legal team have vehemently denied both claims.
Mr Edwards, who talked of a spider’s web of victims, also said Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell was too loyal to the Duke to “say what she knows” about his ties to Epstein. “They are very close friends. This isn’t a casual relationship,” he added.
Briton Maxwell is now facing child sex grooming charges. Mr Edwards added: “I don’t think Prince Andrew is going to say what he knows about Ghislaine. “And I don’t think Ghislaine’s going to say what she knows about Andrew.”
Yesterday it was claimed she has a secret stash of Epstein’s sex tapes and will use the footage to make a plea deal.
Maxwell, 58, was yesterday transferred to New York and will appear in court on Friday.
She was taken from New Hampshire, near where she was hiding out. A source said: “She was transferred with the security afforded to mob bosses.”
