BRIDE BEA’S NEW SNAPS . . . BUT STILL NO ANDREW
PRINCESS Beatrice’s proud husband has shared more pictures of their secret royal wedding – but there is still no sign of father of the bride Prince Andrew.
Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi put three snaps on social media with the EE Cummings poem I Carry Your Heart With Me.
Buckingham Palace later released two pictures showing the couple holding hands after they wed at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor, on Friday.
A statement said the couple were “touched by the warm wishes they have received since their wedding”.
The wedding was attended by the Queen and Prince Philip after their granddaughter, 31, scrapped her original plans for a lavish ceremony in May.
The pictures show the newlyweds, photographed by Benjamin Wheeler, seen walking hand in hand as Edoardo, 37, beams at his bride.
Property tycoon Edoardo’s son Christopher, three, known as Wolfie, was best man and pageboy at the wedding, which was followed by a party inside a pop-up pub dubbed The Duke of York.
Andrew, 60, who has quit royal duties over his friendship with the late US paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, attended the service with his ex-wife Sarah, 60, and walked his daughter down the aisle.
But he did not appear in any official photographs. Edoardo’s parents and Wolfie did not feature either.
Buckingham Palace said: “The couple decided to hold a small private ceremony with their parents and siblings following the postponement of their wedding in May.
“The service was in keeping with the unique circumstances while enabling them to celebrate with their closest family.” The Queen lent Beatrice a vintage diamanteencrusted Norman Hartnell peau de soie taffeta dress in shades of ivory and trimmed with duchess satin.
Also on loan from the Queen was her Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara, which the monarch wore on her wedding day.
Pressure on Andrew has intensified following the US arrest of his close friend, Epstein’s ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell.
The FBI wants to question Andrew over his friendship with Epstein.
The billionaire killed himself in prison last summer while awaiting trial on further charges.
