There was blood everywhere... it looked like something out of The Shining Court is told Depp destroyed house in 3-day drug rampage

- By David Pilditch

AMBER Heard told yesterday how exhusband Johnny Depp destroyed a rented house during a three-day drugs and booze rampage.

Hollywood superstar Mr Depp, 57, is alleged to have subjected Ms Heard to “a three-day hostage situation” while filming the fifth Pirates Of The Caribbean movie in Australia in 2015.

The actress claimed in court that death metal music was blasting as she emerged after barricading herself in her room to find the property had been “completely” destroyed.

Mr Depp is said to have severed finger during the incident, which ended in more than £100,000 of damage, it was claimed.

The alleged carnage in Australia was compared to scenes from the horror movie The Shining, starring Jack Nicholson.

In her witness statement, Ms Heard’s sister Whitney told how she had been shown pictures of the aftermath of the rampage.

Whitney said: “She explained that it was the most violence she had ever suffered from him.

“At some point, he had cut his finger somehow and was writing on the wall in his own blood and Amber showed me the pictures she took of it.

“I remember thinking it was really messed up, like something out of The

Shining or something. I remember her being really shaken by what had happened.”

Ms Heard, 34, said there was “blood everywhere, blood on the walls, pools of blood on the floor” as well as her own bloody footprints from the night before when she was allegedly attacked.

The revelations came as she gave evidence for a fourth and final day at the Royal Courts of Justice in London.

She is the star witness for a newspaper group being sued for libel by Mr Depp over a 2018 article which labelled him a “wife beater”.

Broken

In another explosive day in court, Ms Heard described in detail the scene of devastation after the alleged incident in Australia.

She claimed there was broken glass and graffiti written on walls and mirrors in Mr Depp’s blood and paint.

She said: “There was so much glass on the floor I could barely find a pathway to walk.”

The US actress said furniture was overturned and that Mr Depp had burned holes through cushions and lampshades, with a ping-pong table “broken and on the ground”. She said:

“I started seeing all this blood on the carpet, which I thought was from my feet, but there were drops of it. There was blood everywhere.”

She told the court Mr Depp had earlier severed his own finger by repeatedly smashing a phone into a wall.

She said: “He hit it repeatedly over and over and over again, into the wall, screaming at the top of his lungs. I watched as this phone was disappearing in front of my own eyes.”

Ms Heard added: “He was unrecognisable, even as the monster.

“He was out of his mind. know how else to describe it.”

The court was told Mr Depp allegedly attacked Ms Heard on another occasion and dangled one of their dogs out of the window of a moving car after a 36-hour drugs and whiskey bender.

The actress told how he downed “cocaine, pills, weed and booze” then refused to leave the house when he was due to film a documentary about Keith Richards.

The Rolling Stones guitarist was said to have been left waiting after Mr Depp failed to turn up in 2013.

She said Mr Depp turned into “the monster” after accusing her of having an affair with her former partner.

She also claimed he hit her so hard that blood splattered on to a wall.

The case continues.
