Andrew ‘should be concerned’ at ruling

- By Chris Bucktin US Editor

PRINCE Andrew has been told he “should be very concerned” after his friend Ghislaine Maxwell lost the right to keep thousands of pages of legal documents sealed.

The floodgates to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse and his high-powered friends were unlocked yesterday following a victory for his victims.

The British socialite lost her battle to keep highly “intrusive” questions about her sex life under wraps as well as papers pertaining to her and Epstein’s associates. Also included are flight logs, that previously showed the Duke of York aboard the sex offender’s private jet and a tranche of papers showing emails between Maxwell and Epstein.

Disgraced

Last night, attorney Lisa Bloom, who represents some of Epstein’s victims said: “Anyone who was associated with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell should be very concerned. In particular, Prince Andrew should get ahead of this by cooperating with investigators.”

Andrew has always strongly denied any wrong-doing over his friendship with Epstein, who died in jail last year while awaiting trial.

The judge in the case also declined a defence bid to ban comments by the government or lawyers for women who claim abuse. Judge Alison J Nathan said she expects all parties to exercise “great care” to comply with rules designed to ensure a fair trial, but said no more action was needed.

Lawyer Jeffrey Pagliuca said comments by a prosecutor, an FBI official and lawyers for accusers were prejudicial towards Maxwell.
