Maxwell ‘flew Bill Clinton to paedophile’s island’
FORMER US President Bill Clinton was once flown to Jeffrey Epstein’s “orgy” island by Ghislaine Maxwell, court documents claim.
While on Caribbean bolthole Little St James, Epstein’s teenage “sex slave” Virginia Giuffre claimed she saw Mr Clinton with “two young girls”.
Mr Clinton, 73, has denied ever going to Epstein’s island.
The claims emerged in court
documents from Ms Giuffre’s 2015 defamation case against British socialite Maxwell, 58, that were unsealed on Thursday.
Ms Giuffre, now 36, is questioned in 2011 by lawyer Jack Scarola, who asks: “Do you have any recollection of Jeffrey Epstein specifically telling you that ‘Bill Clinton owes me favours?’.” She replies: “Yes, I do. It was a laugh though. He would laugh it off.
“He never told me what favours they were. I never knew.
“It was just a joke. He told me a long time ago that everyone owes him favours. They’re all in each other’s pockets.”
There is no evidence to suggest Mr Clinton is linked in any way to the under-age sex probe.
Mr Scarola also asks Ms Guiffre: “Were sexual orgies a regular occurrence on the island at Jeffrey’s house?” Ms Guiffre says: “Yes.”
The lawyer then asks if she was ever present with Epstein and Mr Clinton on the island.
Ms Guiffre says: “Ghislaine, Emmy [the former British PA of Maxwell], and there was two young girls that I could identify.”
Ms Giuffre later discusses telling a reporter how Maxwell, a qualified helicopter pilot, had claimed she flew Mr Clinton on to Little St James.
She says: “Ghislaine told me that she flew Bill Clinton in.”
Last year Mr Clinton’s office said he had travelled aboard Epstein’s private plane and briefly visited his New York City apartment, but was always with staff and Secret Service agents.
The Daily Express did not receive a reply from Mr Clinton’s office yesterday.
