99F health alert for baking Britain

A HEALTH warning has been issued for later this week, with parts of Britain expected to bake in temperatures of up to 99F (37C).
The Met Office announced the “level three” alert yesterday for the South-east. The warning will be in place from midday tomorrow until Sunday morning.
Sweltering heat is likely as warm air spreads north from France.
The Met Office said: “Friday will ee temperatures widely reaching 86F or higher, in central, southern and some northern parts of bikini.The mother-of-two shared the snap on Instagram, writing, “Great British Staycation”.
Her celebrity friends were quick to comment, with former Strictly Come Dancing winner Stacey Dooley, 33, posting: “Well, well, well.”
England. It is likely to be hotter still in the South-east, with 93F to 99F possible.
“Saturday will likely be another hot day for southern and central parts of the UK, with heatwave conditions possible.”
Britons have been enjoying staycations nationwide.
Tesco said demand for inflatable paddling pools has soared by more than 450 per cent, while sales of trampolines have jumped 350 per cent. Inflatable hot tubs have had record sales – up 120 per cent.
Tesco’s spokesman Simon Hutchinson said: “With many deciding on a staycation this summer because of the pandemic, we are seeing all-time record demand for inflatables, water toys and even sand as people look to get the most out of their gardens.”
People will be able to enjoy the sun right through until Sunday, although temperatures will drop slightly with some parts of the country seeing thunderstorms.
