SPOT OF TALENT Jadon ‘can be next Giggs’

Louis: Pogba’s buzzing

JADON SANCHO could become the next Ryan Giggs if he joins Manchester United, according to Louis Saha.

United have made Sancho their No1 transfer target this summer but have stalled in their pursuit of the England and Borussia Dortmund star.

The German club are holding out for about £110million for the 20-year-old, but United value him closer to £80m.

They have vowed to look elsewhere should Dortmund fail to reduce their asking price. But Saha said: “Jadon Sancho is incredibly effective and is probably the closest guarantee there is for a winger to score goals and provide assists.

“He is very fast and, more importantly, he has the end product. It’s this creativity that Manchester United badly need in those wide areas.

“He can have a similar impact to what Ryan Giggs had on the left side. Sancho will bring that flair and an ability to force the defender to commit themselves, he has the quality of the final pass or the final dribble to be a massive threat.”

PAUL POGBA has received a new lease of life at Manchester United since Bruno Fernandes’ arrival – and is now being backed to sign a new contract at the club.

Close friend Louis Saha has revealed that France World Cup winner Pogba is happy again at Old Trafford as he enters the final 12 months of his £150,000-a-week deal.

Saha said: “Paul is very motivated by Fernandes and having him in midfield next to him has given him more freedom and far more options on the ball.

“The scrutiny was relentless. He had become tired of being crucified every time United had a poor game, but he is happy now and I hope he will sign a new contract because he is a world-class player.”
