Former model accuses Trump of sex assault
President denies former model’s sexual assault claim
A FORMER model has accused President Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her while attending the US Open tennis tournament.
Amy Dorris, 48, claims that she was 24 when the then businessman forced his tongue down her throat and groped her.
The alleged encounter happened outside the toilet in Mr Trump’s VIP box at the New York event in 1997, when he was 51.
Ms Dorris said: “He just shoved his tongue down my throat and I was pushing him off.
“And then that’s when his grip became tighter and his hands were very gropey and all over my butt, my breasts, my back, everything.
“I was in his grip, and I couldn’t get out of it.
“I don’t know what you call that when you’re sticking your tongue just down someone’s throat.
“But I pushed it out with my teeth. I was pushing it. And I think I might have hurt his tongue.”
She claimed Mr Trump assaulted her after she went to the bathroom to sort out a problem with her contact lenses.
She told him “no, please stop” but “he didn’t care”, she alleges.
Immediately afterwards, she claims, she told her mother and several friends about the encounter.
Her mother and two other people have corroborated her claims.
Ms Dorris still has her ticket from the tournament, as well as six photos showing her with Mr Trump over several days in New York.
In her account to a newspaper, she recalled how she had attended the event with her then boyfriend, Jason Binn, who knew Mr Trump.
Mr Binn, the founder of several luxury fashion and lifestyle magazines, described the property mogul as his “best friend” in 1999.
Ms Dorris added she could not be sure that she told her boyfriend of the alleged assault but claimed she did say to him: “He’s all over me. I can’t deal with this. You have to do something.”
Mr Trump, who was married to second wife Marla Maples at the time, vehemently denies the allegations.
His lawyers said he never harassed, abused or behaved improperly toward Ms Dorris. Mr Binn did not respond to requests for comments.
But Mr Trump’s legal team said Mr Binn had told them he did not remember Ms Dorris telling him anything improper had happened.
Ms Dorris, who is now a mother of twin daughters, said she considered coming forward with her allegations during Mr Trump’s run for the White House in 2016, when several women publicly accused him of sexual assault.
She said she decided against it to protect her family, adding: “Now I feel like my girls are about to turn 13 years old and I want them to know that you don’t let anybody do anything to you that you don’t want.
“And I’d rather be a role model. I want them to see that I didn’t stay quiet, that I stood up to somebody who did something that was unacceptable.”
More than 20 women have come forward to accuse Trump of sexual assault. He has strongly denied all of the allegations.
Boasted
Four years ago, when he was campaigning to be president, an audio and video recording emerged of him from 2005 in which he boasted about being able to “grab” women “by the *****”.
He said: “When you’re a star, they let you do it.
“You can do anything. Grab them by the *****. You can do anything.”
Earlier this year, lawyers for advice columnist E. Jean Carroll, who has accused Mr Trump of raping her in the 1990s, asked for a DNA sample so a dress she wore can be tested.
She sued him last November for defamation after he called her a liar and said he had never met her.
Last month, a New York State Supreme Court judge denied his effort to delay the proceedings in the lawsuit.
