Ben fits the bill to beat Kameko

- By The Scout

GLOBETROTTING star BENBATL ( 3.35, nap) can bag another big win in the Group Two Shadwell Joel Stakes.

The six- year- old has an excellent record after a break and won this race by five lengths this year.

With top level victories in Australia, Dubai and Germany to his name, Saeed bin Suroor’s race ace should have too much class for the he penalised 2,000 Guineas hero Kameko.

His jockey Oisin Murphy, right, knows both h horses well – and d rode the selection into third in the Saudi Cup back in February.

But Benbatl can have the upper hand over his key rival off a 5lb superior rating.

MONDAY ( 3.00) is the first foal of a Group One- winning juvenile and looked very good at Leopardstown recently.

For a filly with just the one prior start, she was the ultimate professional in front there and holds leading claims of doubling up in the Group Two Shadwell Rockfel Stakes.

ANTONIA DE VEGA ( 2.25, treble) is the pick in the Group Three Princess Royal Muhaarar Stakes.

She found a Listed race on soft ground gr last summer summ easy pickings pic – and e emerged with c credit in Group O One company th thereafter. A problem with a splint splin prevented her from running in the Princess of Wales’s Stakes, a level higher than this, at the same track.

It shows the regard in which she is held and this looks a good opportunity.

Tom Marquand hit the 100- winner mark for the year this week and he will fancy his chances of another success on the unexposed UMMALNAR ( 1.50).
