Jamal Lowe points at Ben Foster’s YouTube camera after scoring his first

SWANSEA striker Jamal Lowe reckons his cheeky goal celebration will not be featuring on Ben Foster’s YouTube channel.

But there is a growing belief the Swans’ promotion bid is not heading for the cutting room floor.

When Lowe curled a delicious equaliser past Foster, he celebrated by running and pointing towards the GoPro camera the Watford keeper positions in the corner of his net.

Lowe said: “Before the game, one of the boys was talking about Ben Foster’s YouTube channel, The Cycling Goalkeeper. A lot of the boys watch it and say it’s a good laugh. I said, ‘ If I score today I’m going to try and make it on his next video’.

“Hopefully, I make the cut, but he’ll probably crop it out, to be fair.”

Lowe’s second- half winner – a brave header to beat Foster, right, to Korey Smith’s cross – had the former Wigan winger running to his team- mates, rather than FosterCam.

It propelled Swansea up to second and capped a holiday period of three wins and a draw.

Lowe, 26, had not played as a striker since he was 12. But Swans head coach Steve Cooper paid Wigan £ 800,000 for him last summer to roll back the years.

Lowe, who has scored six goals in as many games, said: “It made sense because I scored a lot more goals than most wingers. It’s still a different role with a lot to learn.” His main teacher is the man Lowe calls ‘ The King’ – Andre Ayew. And while Ayew’s influence has waned of late, Lowe has blossomed.

Lowe said: “Our mindset is to win and push for the top two.” Watford do not have that collective belief. But there were positive signs when Tom Cleverley thumped the opener and when they rallied late on. Xisco Munoz was not downhearted after a first defeat as Watford manager following a win over leaders Norwich.

He said: “I have been here two weeks and together we can do good things. “Everybody knows we have a good team. But, like they say… to be continued.”
