AFTER Tuesday’s Downing Street press conference, why didn’t Boris assume responsibi­lity only for England’s Covid deaths?

While obviously being the UK PM, the devolved government­s are responsibl­e for their own share as they often acted independen­tly.

No doubt they’ll keep quiet on the issue and not offer to take collective responsibi­lity, especially the SNP in Scotland and Labour in Wales.
