Documentary: The Disappearance Of Shannon Matthews, C5, 9pm
Concluding the documentary about the disappearance of nine-year-old Shannon Matthews in 2008, an investigation that gripped the nation. Her mother Karen claimed that her daughter had gone missing on the way home from her school, prompting a nationwide search for clues. But weeks later, it was revealed that Karen had known the truth about the whole affair all along. In a hoax kidnapping, Shannon was being kept hidden by a man known to her mother, who had plotted to claim the £50,000 reward money for her safe return. Retired police officers DC Nick Townsend (far left with DC Paul Kettlewell) talk about their work on the case.

Barnsley v Chelsea (Kick-off 8pm). Gary Lineker presents coverage of the concluding tie of the round, held at Oakwell. Championship outfit Barnsley have eliminated Norwich City and Tranmere Rovers so far, but now face a tough task against the Blues, managed by Thomas Tuchel (left), who have beaten Morecambe and Luton Town as they look to go one better than last season, when they were runners-up. Property: George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces, C4, 8pm
George looks back at his first ever big build, in which he enlisted the help of design guru Will Hardie to convert a dilapidated 1970s caravan (above) into a stylish holiday home for him and his children. George takes inspiration from other ingenious caravan and self-build conversions, including lovingly restored gypsy wagons – and to make the most of the space, he comes up with a sofa that doubles up as a bath.
Film: Hunter Killer, Film4, 9pm
Gerard Butler (above) stars as the captain of a submarine that’s the only thing standing between peace and a nuclear war in this muscular action thriller. There are echoes of the spoof classic Team America: World Police as our heroes grunt and shoot their way through various obstacles. Butler is perfectly at home in this genre, delivering clichéd speeches without the slightest hint of irony. With Gary Oldman.
