THE Crown ruled at the Golden Globes with four awards after a record-equalling haul for British talent.

Emma appeared visibly shocked as her name was called out ahead of co-star Olivia Colman, who plays the Queen,

OUR lives have seriously lacked glamour over the past year thanks to the pandemic, but we got a much-needed injection from the Golden Globes fashion parade. And who can blame A-listers, not to mention publicity-starved designers, for seizing the opportunity to play dress-up on the virtual red carpet?

The Brits led the way in both awards and style. London-born Rosamund Pike, 42, stole the show in an over-the-top frou-frou pink tulle concoction by Molly Goddard – the designer behind Villanelle’s famous pink frock in Killing Eve. Emma Corrin, 25, who

The Golden Globes are the first major event of the film awards season, and are often a good indicator of which films will go on to Oscars glory.

Former Saturday Night Live stars Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the virtual extravaganza, in New York and Los Angeles respectively, and guest award presenters also appeared at venues.
