STURGEON CANNOT SHIFT POLITICAL GOALPOSTS WHEN IT SUITS HER

-

SO, JUST as many of us suspected, Nicola Sturgeon DID mislead the Scottish Parliament.

This was decided by the Alex Salmond harassment inquiry committee, a committee HER Government chose to decide the issue, a committee whose findings she promised to respect.

Only now she’s refusing to because it isn’t the decision she wanted and she’s saying the leaked ruling is a “partisan leak” – a contradiction in terms because by its very nature a cross-party committee can’t be partisan.

“What’s clear is that opposition members of this committee made up their minds before I uttered a single word of evidence,” says Jimmy Krankie’s doppelganger

What evidence? Does she mean that eight-hour stream of, “I don’t know, I don’t recall, I don’t remember, my memory of that is vague, I don’t have a recollection”.

If Boris Johnson had appeared before a committee and spent eight hours saying he couldn’t remember anything about anything she’d tell him he shouldn’t be in the job if his memory was so appalling.

God forbid if he was found to have misled Parliament. She’d have screamed for him to resign/be arrested/ousted from politics. If Sturgeon had one jot of integrity she’d have gone by now instead of bad mouthing the inquiry that said she misled it.

But she’s obviously decided that in Scotland if, like her, you’re the leader of the dominant (nasty) party you can break the rules that apply to everyone else and to hell with the integrity of Parliament.

AsWee Jimmy would say, “fan-dabby-dozy”.
