More ups and downs of everyday life in the Dales. Aaron (Danny Miller, left) is reluctant to help Mack load up the dodgy TVs but eventually agrees. When the police arrive on the scene, Mack scarpers leaving Aaron to face the music on his own. Elsewhere, Andrea states that she wants Dale View in the divorce settlement to provide security for her and Millie. Piece of cake? But Kim’s not going to stand for that and accuses her of being a gold digger. Meanwhile, Faith helps Tracy out.

History: Black Power: A British Story of Resistance, BBC2, 9pm

This documentar­y charts the “forgotten history” of the rise and fall of the Black Power movement in Britain, depicting the racial abuse meted out to the black and Asian communitie­s in the 1960s and 70s. There’s powerful testimony from activists such as Zainab Abbas, poet Linton Kwesi Johnson (above) and even ex-police officers who were on the scene.

Film: The Lone Ranger, BBC4, 9pm

How did an idealistic Texas Ranger become the legendary masked man of mystery? The Lone Ranger’s partner Tonto (Johnny Depp, far left) relates the story to a wide-eyed kid at a Wild West sideshow in this visually resplenden­t adventure. The story tells of a lawyer who is left for dead after an ambush in which his Texas ranger brother is killed, is saved by a mysterious Native American fugitive. Concealing his identity behind a mask, he and his new ally hunt down the outlaws behind the attack – only to find their actions are just part of a larger evil scheme. Director Gore Verbinski’s top-flight Western, co-starring Armie Hammer (left) with Helena Bonham Carter.

Sport: World Cup Live: England v San Marino, ITV, 7.15pm

The first round of qualifying matches for next year’s World Cup takes place this week, and England could hardly have asked for an easier opener as they take on San Marino at Wembley Stadium (kick-off 7.45pm). The hosts have met the European minnows eight previous times and have recorded an aggregate score of 37-1, so boss Gareth Southgate (above) will be expecting nothing less than a victory.

Soap: EastEnders, BBC1, 7.40pm/8.05pm

Jean’s got great news for Stacey, who’s just been told that she’s facing a six-month prison sentence if she pleads guilty. She finds out that Ruby (Louisa Lytton, right) is dropping the charges against her, but Stacey’s not so sure. Kush prepares for a day out with Whitney and Arthur, prompting Gray to sabotage their romance. Elsewhere, Kheerat gives Vinny a chance to prove himself by looking after Stas’s associate, but he is dishearten­ed when he learns he is to be a driver.
