THE Duke of Edinburgh is Lying at Rest in the Private Chapel in Windsor Castle.

SATURDAY 11AM

The coffin will be moved by a Bearer Party from the Private Chapel to the Inner Hall of Windsor Castle.

2.10PM

Dean of Windsor will say prayers before leaving by car to St George’s Chapel.

2.20PM

Members of The Royal Family and The Duke of Edinburgh’s family who are not taking part in the Procession will leave Windsor Castle by car for St George’s Chapel.

2.27PM

Bands in the Quadrangle will play. Land Rover, upon which the coffin will be placed, will enter the Quadrangle via George IV Gate, and will proceed anti-clockwise around the Quadrangle to the Equerries’ Entrance.

2.38PM

Coffin will be lifted by the Bearer Party.

2.40PM

Bands in the Quadrangle will stop playing and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Household will take up their positions.

2.41PM

Coffin will emerge from the State Entrance. Members of the Royal Family walking in the procession will depart the State Entrance after the coffin and take up positions. The Bearer Party will place coffin onto the Land Rover.

2.44PM

The Queen will leave the Sovereign’s Entrance in the State Bentley. National Anthem will be played.

2.45PM

Minute Guns will be fired by King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery from the East Lawn for duration of procession. A Curfew Tower Bell will sound.

State Bentley, at rear of the Procession, will stop outside the Galilee Porch.

The Queen will be received by the Dean of Windsor who will conduct Her Majesty, Members of the Royal Family and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Family, who have been viewing the Procession, to take their seats in the Quire.

2.53PM

The Land Rover will arrive at St George’s Chapel. The Bearer Party, found by the Royal Marines, will lift the Coffin from the Land Rover.

Coffin will be carried up the West Steps and halt on the Second Landing. Members of the Royal Family will take their positions at the foot of

the West Steps. below,

The National Minute’s Silence will take place.

Coffin will move to the catafalque in the Quire. Royal Family members who walked in the procession will take places in the Quire.

The service will be conducted by the Dean of Windsor who will give the Commendati­on as coffin is lowered into Royal Vault.

Garter Principal King of Arms will proclaim His Royal Highness’s Styles and Titles from the Sanctuary.

Last Post will be sounded by Buglers of the Royal Marines from west end of the Nave. After a period of silence, the Reveille will be sounded by State Trumpeters of the Household Cavalry.

Archbishop of Canterbury will pronounce the Blessing, and the National Anthem will be sung by four singers.

The service is expected to last 50 minutes.
