Documentary: Accused Of Murdering Our Son, ITV, 9pm
Steven Clark, 23, mysteriously disappeared following a family walk with his mother in December 1992. In September 2020, his parents Doris, 81, and Charles, 78, (above) were arrested on suspicion of murder following a review by police from the Cleveland and North Yorkshire Cold Case Unit, though have since been cleared. Ex-detective Mark Williams-Thomas takes a look at the case.
Comedy: Frank Of Ireland, C4, 10pm
This endearing ramble of a sitcom starring Brian Gleeson, Tom VaughanLawlor and Sarah Greene (left) is full of great touches. Spending time with self-absorbed loser Frank (Brian Gleeson) is good value because we know the next scene will always deliver another comic humiliation, though Frank will be too proud to notice. This week he has to look after his injured mother, who gives him a list of household tasks, but Frank’s idea of shopping is five dozen eggs, and he takes all the laundry to be dry cleaned – for some reason buying a dog along the way. The surreal shambles may remind you of other shows about hapless berks, like Mister Winner and Man Down.

Two irresponsible salesmen find themselves in trouble with the law after crashing their truck. To avoid jail, they agree to undertake community service looking after a couple of troubled kids. However, it soon seems that going to prison would have been the easier option. Comedy, starring Christopher MintzPlasse and Paul Rudd (above) with Seann William Scott and Elizabeth Banks.
