Food: Snackmaste­rs, C4, 9pm

Fred Sirieix sets two chefs the challenge of creating a replica of the Snickers bar. The mix of chocolate, peanuts, caramel and nougat may sound simple, but it proves to be a challenge for Tom Brown, who has a restaurant in London and Sabrina Gidda (above with Fred), who runs the kitchen at the all-female members’ club AllBright in Mayfair. They cook their replicas from scratch but who will be the winner?

Travel: Ainsley’s Mediterran­ean Cookbook, ITV, 7.30pm

Ainsley Harriott embarks on a journey across the Mediterran­ean on a 44ft catamaran, preparing a variety of delicious recipes along the way. In this first edition, skipper Jean-Hughes teaches him the basics of sailing, and they drop anchor in a crystal-clear cove on the island of Lavezzi. Next, the chef travels to the medieval fortress town of Bonifacio (left) on the southern tip of Corsica, where he meets JB, a rugby player-turned-olive oil maker, as he samples his much sought-after oils before whipping up some cheesy stuffed aubergines in a stunning kitchen overlookin­g the harbour. He also cooks sensationa­l seafood skewers with pepperonat­a.

Film: The Kid, Film4, 9pm

Premiere. In the Wild West of the 19th century, a youngster named Rio goes on the run with his sister Sara to escape their violent and villainous uncle Grant. Along the way, they meet Billy the Kid and his gang, forming an unlikely alliance with the infamous outlaw. Western adventure directed by Vincent D’Onofrio, starring Dane DeHaan (above left), Ethan Hawke (right), Chris Pratt and Jake Schur.

Linda makes a shocking discovery in Nancy’s coat pocket, and when Frankie cannot get her to open up, she follows her to find out why she is being so mysterious. Kim is angry with Mila after seeing her with a man, convinced she is cheating on Iqra, and Bailey overhears Karen and Mitch talking about their finances. As Janet’s photoshoot comes to an end, Honey (Emma Barton, right) is surprised by a comment from another mother about how much the children are getting paid.
