Jenny From The Block... Harry from the Palace

- By Steph Spyro

PRINCE Harry bowed to showbiz royalty as he took to the stage at a gala night to praise Covid workers.

And his pop princess for the night was Jennifer Lopez who reigned supreme in three stunning outfits as she performed at the concert in Los Angeles.

It marked Harry’s first public appearance in the US since his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral on April 17, and since the bombshell interview he and wife Meghan Markle – who stayed home – gave to Oprah in March.

Bravery

Harry, 36, pleaded for vaccines to be “distributed to everyone everywhere”, while saluting frontline medical workers.

He said: “Tonight is a celebration of each of you here, the vaccinated frontline workers in the audience and the millions of frontline heroes around the world.

“You spent the last year battling courageously and selflessly to protect us all. You served and sacrificed, put yourselves in harm’s way, and acted with bravery, knowing the costs. We owe you an incredible debt of gratitude. Thank you.”

The Global Citizen Vax Live: The Concert To Reunite The World was attended by dozens of the world’s biggest names in politics, music and film. All had to have been fully vaccinated. J-Lo, who released pop hit Jenny from the Block in 2002, made a shimmering entrance in a nude jumpsuit embellished with feathers and sequins. The singer, 51, who recently separated from fiance Alex Rodriguez, performed Neil Diamond’s song Sweet Caroline, joined by her mother, Guadalupe. The If You Had My Love star then turned up the heat in a racy neon thong bodysuit paired with a black belt, left.

A yellow off-the-shoulder mini-dress decorated with jewel-encrusted lion head figures wrapped up the trio of looks. Other gala guests included US model and TV star Chrissy Teigen, 35, who walked the red carpet with five-year-old daughter Luna.
