Documentar­y: Ashley Banjo: Britain In Black And White, ITV, 9pm

The Diversity star goes on a journey to explore the negative reaction to his dance on Britain’s Got Talent last year, when he and his crew performed a routine which acted out George Floyd’s death at the hands of US police. A year on from one of the most complained about TV moments in Ofcom’s history, Ashley (left) explores how race and racism have impacted his own life and that of his family and friends. He chats to a range of contributo­rs along the way, including actor David Harewood, historian David Olusoga, fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon, activist Leila Hassan Howe and comedian Jim Davidson.

History: Back In Time For... School, BBC2, 7pm

This time-travelling documentar­y sees pupils and their teachers immerse themselves in the education system of the 1960s. With three-outof-four people working in manual or clerical jobs, secondary modern schools were expected to train pupils with the skills they needed to secure a job at the age of 15. The girls discover some of their lessons are still segregated as they learn to type and to be good wives, while the boys are taught bricklayin­g. Sara Cox (left) presents.

Comedy: How We Forgot To Save The Planet, C4, 10.15pm

Ahead of the COP26 climate change summit in Glasgow, funnyman Kieran Hodgson (above, left) presents this irreverent documentar­y in which he and an all-star cast of comedy actors explain how the public may have left it too late to save our planet – and what it will take to fix it. Contributo­rs include Morgana Robinson (above, right) and Simon Bird.

Film: Central Intelligen­ce, Film4, 6.50pm

Action comedy starring Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart (both above). Once bullied for being overweight, the now-muscular Bob Stone decides to head home for his high school reunion. Here, he reconnects with an old school friend, Calvin Joyner, who is bored with his life as an accountant. Life soon gets adventurou­s for the pair when CIA agent Stone asks Calvin to help him with a compromise­d US satellite system.

Drama: American Crime Story, BBC2, 9.15pm

Based on a true story, the third series of this crime drama focuses on the national scandal that led to the impeachmen­t of Bill Clinton in 1998. It’s 1993, and after the death of her boss, White House staff member Linda Tripp is relocated to The Pentagon where she meets Monica Lewinsky. Paula Jones decides to sue then-President Bill Clinton for sexual harassment. Starring Booksmart’s Beanie Feldstein (right), Run actress Sarah Paulson and Annaleigh Ashford.
