Cookery: The Great Celebrity Bake Off For Stand Up To Cancer, C4, 8pm
The much-loved show is back with plenty of meltdowns, spectacular showstoppers and witty remarks from presenters Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas. In this evening’s episode, comic-turnedwellness guru Ruby Wax, singing coach Gareth Malone, TV regular Laura Whitmore (left) and social media star Yung Filly whip up fruit turnovers and mouth-watering chocolate fondants, before reliving their most embarrassing moment in the shape of a meringue showstopper.
Crime: Getting Away With Murder, C5, 10pm
Documentary looking at the murder investigation into the 2001 death of Mary Gough, who was strangled to death by her husband, Colin Whelan, at their home in Dublin. The pair had only been married for six months when Whelan murdered his wife. This special follows the twists and turns of the police’s efforts to find out what happened to Mary, and how the investigation eventually turned into an international manhunt.
Nature: Ben Fogle: New Lives In The Wild, C5, 9pm
Adventurer, writer and broadcaster Ben Fogle (right) goes on a trip down memory lane when he revisits the Watkinson family, who gave up their successful careers as vets to live a greener existence on a rugged mountainside on the Pembrokeshire coast. In tonight’s programme, Ben catches up with the family to learn how they have used their academic backgrounds to come up with ingenious ways to make their new life work for them. During his time with the Watkinsons, he also witnesses the extraordinary relationship their children are forging with the living world around them and the profound impact it has on their lives.

Science-fiction drama based on the novel by Andy Weir, featuring Matt Damon (above). After a manned mission to Mars is hit by a ferocious storm, Mark Watney is left behind when his fellow crew members make their escape. Using his scientific knowledge, ingenuity and drawing on seemingly inexhaustible levels of resolve, Watney must search for a way to survive long enough on the Red Planet to be rescued.
Music: Concert For Ukraine, ITV, 8pm
A star-studded line-up of musicians, including Ed Sheeran (right) and Camila Cabello, perform their most popular hits, in aid of the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, in front of a live audience at Birmingham’s NEC Arena. All the sponsorship and advertising revenue generated from the broadcast will be donated to the DEC appeal. The broadcast will intersperse the acts with short films recognising the ongoing relief efforts and the plight faced by people affected by the war in Ukraine.
