Clarets hit back late to stay on top

TWO stoppage-time goals helped Burnley move five points clear at the top of the Championsh­ip as they beat 10-man Rotherham 3-2.

The Clarets won it thanks to Halil Dervisoglu’s 100th-minute finish.

Rotherham struck early when Ben Wiles nodded home Brooke Norton-Cuffy’s cross. Burnley’s Jay Rodriguez tapped home his ninth goal of the season 10 minutes before the break.
