GPs ‘bullied’ all the way to bank

-

THREE quarters of Britain’s GPs want to go on strike because, says their militant BMA union, they’re tired of being “bullied and gaslit”.

Well, as the majority of them are partners in their practices, with average annual earnings of £153,000, I think we’d all like to be “bullied” in the way they claim to be.

A question though. If they DO go on strike – how would we know?

■ EMMANUEL Macron says Brexit “has done nothing to tackle immigration issues”.

No, it’s HIM that’s done nothing. France takes our millions, while promising to stop the boats – and then guides them across the Channel into our waters. It’s Macron’s petty little mind that’s cocking up immigration – not Brexit!

■ A NEW study out of America says getting angry could literally be the death of us. It says sharp bursts of anger – like the one I had last week when John Lewis told me I couldn’t speak to anyone about buying a washing machine because the department didn’t have a phone to speak to customers – can lead to a heart attack or a stroke.

I’d better start getting my affairs in order…

■ THE Madeleine McCann inquiry got handed another £192,000 of public money this week – that’s £13.2million in 17 years for an investigation that’s produced precisely nothing. This is an insult to the parents of the thousands of other children who have gone missing during that period – and upon whom the average police spend is about £2,500 per child.
