BBC Proms 2016

Vaughan Williams’s exciting choral work Toward The Unknown Region features in tonight’s Prom, given by the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. It’s a masterpiece, based on a stirring poem by Walt Whitman. Bruch’s much-loved Violin Concerto No 1 is also on tonight’s bill.
