ITV has axed job centre sitcom The Job Lot, starring Russell Tovey and Sarah Hadland (above). Some of the cast are believed to be unhappy the show was demoted from the main channel to ITV2 after the first of three series. ‘It’s felt the last season was the best, yet it was given late-night slots on ITV2,’ says an insider.
