Adventure holiday or package trip? I once took a motorhome all the way through France and Italy to Rome. I’ve also driven through the Deep South of America. Football or motor racing? I love F1, even though it’s too technical now. Fast cars or family wagon? I’ve spent a lot of money on sports cars over the years – a Porsche 911 was the nicest. But with two children I now have a BMW 3 Series estate.

Swimming or cycling? I’ve just done a 100-mile bike ride, and had to train a lot to spend six hours in the saddle.

European or Asian food? I’d go for tapas. I like little picky things, meats and cheese.

Beer or wine? I find it hard after a day’s work not to have a pint of lager.
