Cold Feet

9PM, ITV It’s been 13 years since the Cold Feet gang were last on our screens, but after five minutes, you’ll forget they’ve ever been away. Back as the old friends come James Nesbitt, John Thomson, Fay Ripley, Robert Bathurst and Hermione Norris (but not Helen Baxendale, whose character, Rachel, was killed back in 2003). They have changed jobs, developed new relationships, lost weight and, miraculously in Nesbitt’s case, gained more hair. Essentially, though, they are still the same characters you fell in love with all those years ago. It’s great to have them back.

Celebrity Home Secrets

8PM, ITV The Coronation Street star Craig Charles is the second celebrity to take us through the keyholes of the various houses in which he has lived. His journey begins in his childhood home on the rough Cantril Farm Estate, where he lived until his lorry driver dad was able to buy a bigger, better house after winning £1,800 on the horses.

Crimewatch

9PM, BBC1 After seven years at the helm, Kirsty Young stepped down in 2015 as the presenter of the crime-busting series; here, she’s replaced by Jeremy Vine and the Radio 1 Newsbeat host Tina Daheley. And that’s not the only change, as for the first time in the show’s 32-year history, it will have a new, weekly slot. Criminals, beware.

Secrets Of The SAS

9PM, CH5 It’s rare to hear members of the SAS talking about their work, as their missions are normally shrouded in secrecy. But in this four-part series, former servicemen reveal what it’s like to serve in one of the world’s most elite forces, beginning with the story of a daring rescue mission into Sierra Leone in 2000.
