Inside Scotland Yard with Trevor McDonald
Established in 1829, Scotland Yard is the home of London’s Metropolitan Police Service, which has brought to justice some of this country’s most notorious criminals. In this twopart series, Trevor McDonald has been granted access to the Met’s famous HQ to explore its history and how it has evolved over nearly two centuries. In this first episode, McDonald visits the Met’s sinister Crime Museum, and hears how the force solved the grisly cases of serial killers John George Haigh – the so-called Acid Bath Murderer – and Dennis Nilsen.

9PM, BBC2 Documentary-maker Richard Macer is an interloper in the world of high fashion as he and his camera mix awkwardly with the likes of Mario Testino and Kate Moss for this two-part observational documentary on fashion bible British Vogue. He has no feel for his subject, but that doesn’t stop Macer stumbling into a drama.
