Telstar: The Joe Meek Story

(Saturday) In the film, Royle Family star Ralf Little plays Chas Hodges – far better known these days as Chas of Chas & Dave. Before he hooked up with Dave Peacock, Hodges started out in the 1960s as a session musician, working for producer Joe Meek. Eagle- eyed fans will also spot a cameo from the real-life Chas (right), playing one of Meek’s neighbours.
