REPAIRING LAWNS If you have a small area of thin grass, remove moss and weeds and thinly scatter grass seed. Water well and do not mow for a month. For a larger area clean the edges with a sharp spade and scatter seed or cut turf to fit. Do not mow or walk on it until it’s growing vigorously.
