The fourth challenge facing the remaining candidates is to introduce, promote and sell a new product line in London’s world-famous department store, Liberty, a haunt of fashionable shoppers with money to burn. While half the teams get busy on the shop floor, the rest are behind the scenes, offering a personal shopping service to a handful of wary volunteer customers. ‘Am I allowed to say what I hate?’ asks one when she claps eyes on the clothes that have been lined up for her to try on. Well, would you trust any of them with your wardrobe?

Last year’s Great British Bake Off final was probably the most emotional ever, as Nadiya Hussain cried tears of joy at being crowned 2015’s winner. Here, she and her fellow contestants return to the famous tent to look back at last year’s series, and reveal what they have been up to since.

Charmer Paul O’Grady is in his element in this delightful series finale, as he attempts to teach doggie sign language to a profoundly deaf and impossibly cute Old English sheepdog puppy. At just six weeks old, Dudley’s teddy bear appearance is something of a distraction, to say the least.

With the final two episodes of this controversial series showing on consecutive nights, fans don’t have to wait too long to find out what fate holds in store for Gibson and Spector. Tonight, Spector starts to open up to Dr Larson about his extremely troubled childhood, while tomorrow’s episode (9pm) brings events to a violent conclusion. SH
