Where’s the drama? Silent Witness, starring Emilia Fox as Dr Nikki Alexander [pictured], used to be one of the best shows on BBC1. However, in recent years it’s become obsessed with taking the moral high ground and preaching about political problems. The first episode of the new series, about human trafficking, felt more like watching the news than a crime drama at times. Please bring back the fabulous show Silent Witness once was.
