Oxford is a hive of activity as social activist Joy Pettybon arrives to promote her ‘Keep Britain Decent’ campaign, while a rock band called The Wildwood are recording their new album up at Maplewick Hall. And, when a local man is found murdered, Endeavour finds himself in the centre of a battle between the permissive society and more conservative forces fighting for hearts and minds in 1960s Britain.
