Fit for a king Royal Recipes on BBC1 hosted by Michael Buerk has been a delight in the afternoons, giving us an insight into how royals have wined and dined through the ages. The recollections and recipes of Mildred Nicholls, the servant who worked in the royal kitchens over 100 years ago, were inspiring and educational, and the dishes recreated by the chefs looked delicious. Michael was an excellent host too. A gem of a programme.
