It’s hard to watch this film without fixating on John Travolta’s look – the shaved head and goatee take a bit of getting used to. He’s a CIA fixer sent to Paris on an assignment, where he works with Jonathan Rhys Meyers’s penpusher to untangle a messy knot of intrigue.
