Hank Williams received a lukewarm reception from critics, although Tom Hiddleston’s (left) performance as the troubled musical hero was generally praised. It suffers from a drifting narrative that lacks the twang of its subject’s best work.

Hit-making action director Phillip Noyce’s sturdy take on Tom Clancy’s fourth Jack Ryan novel. Harrison Ford plays CIA man Ryan a second time in a follow-up to 1992’s Patriot Games. Ryan has climbed the ladder of the CIA, and takes on a conspiracy within the ranks.

James Cameron’s gripping sci-fi action film has a cyborg (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and a man (Michael Biehn) travelling back from the future to kill/save the human race. Both Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton’s heroine would be back for more.
